Terms & conditions
These terms cover your use of myrossi.uk and the heating, hot water and air conditioning work we carry out. Your quote or invoice may add terms specific to your job.

1. About us
Rossi Air Conditioning & Heating (“Rossi”, “we”, “us”). Our contact details are at the end of these terms.
2. Quotes
We give a written quote or price before any repair or installation. A quote is based on what we could see and what you told us, and is valid for the period stated on it. If we find something that changes the work or the price, such as hidden damage or a fault elsewhere in the system, we will explain it and agree any change with you before going ahead.
3. Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer and you agree a contract with us away from our premises, for example at your home, by phone or online, you have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, tell us clearly by email or phone.
If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the work done up to the point you cancel. Once the work is complete you can no longer cancel. The right to cancel does not apply to an urgent repair you have specifically asked us to visit for, although it does apply to any additional work we sell you on that visit.
4. Your consumer rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, our services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, and goods we supply must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
5. Access and site conditions
Please give us safe, reasonable access to the property and the equipment, and tell us about anything that affects the work, such as asbestos you know about, building rules or a lease that restricts alterations. Freeholder, landlord, planning or listed building consents are your responsibility unless we agree in writing to handle them. If an appointment can’t go ahead because we can’t get in, we may need to rebook, and a charge may apply if we told you about it in advance.
6. Payment
Payment terms are set out on your quote or invoice. For larger installations we may ask for a deposit, and we will tell you before you agree.
7. Guarantees and warranties
Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment on the manufacturer’s terms, which usually require an annual service. We register warranties for equipment we install where the manufacturer allows. Any guarantee we give on our own workmanship is stated on your quote or invoice. We are not responsible for existing defects, earlier installations by others, or parts of a building outside the work we agreed.
8. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made. For business customers, our total liability for any job is limited to the price of that job.
9. This website
The website gives general information about our services and is not a substitute for an engineer looking at your system. The Rossi name, logo, text and images belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be copied without our written consent.
10. Complaints
If something isn’t right, tell us and we will put it right where we can. Contact us using the details below.
11. Privacy
How we use personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and the mandatory consumer protections of your local law still apply.
