How Rossi Air Conditioning & Heating collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit myrossi.uk, contact us or use our services.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
1. Who we are
Rossi Air Conditioning & Heating (“Rossi”, “we”, “us”) provides heating, hot water, air conditioning and related services in the United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What we collect
- Your name, phone number, email address, property address and postcode
- Details of your heating, hot water or cooling system and the work you need
- Messages and call notes, appointment times and access arrangements
- If you are a landlord or agent: property details and the tenant contact details you give us to arrange access
- Job records, certificates, quotes, invoices and payment status
- If you arrived from a Google advert: the advert click identifier in the link you followed
- Anonymous website statistics (pages viewed, referring site, device type and country), collected without cookies
3. How we use it, and our lawful bases
- To respond to your enquiry and carry out the work: to take steps you ask for before a contract, and to perform it.
- To keep records the law requires, such as gas safety records, building regulations notifications and tax records: legal obligation.
- To run and improve our business, including service reminders, quality checks and understanding which adverts bring enquiries: our legitimate interests, balanced against yours.
- Marketing: only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Who we share it with
Only as needed, with:
- Service providers that help us run the business: website hosting, email, customer management and scheduling, and payments
- Google, to measure which adverts lead to enquiries (the advert click identifier only)
- Manufacturers, to register warranties on equipment we install
- Building control or competent person schemes, where installations must be notified
- Professional advisers, insurers and authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights
5. International transfers
Some of our providers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t lead to work: up to two years
- Customer, job and financial records: six years after the last job, for legal and tax purposes
- Gas safety and installation records: at least as long as the law requires, and while the equipment is in our care
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Some rights have limits, for example where the law requires us to keep records. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Cookies
We use one optional cookie, and only if you accept it. See our cookie policy.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No transmission or storage is completely secure, so please tell us straight away if you think your data has been put at risk.
10. Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
